Traditional German Red Cabbage and Apple
Ingredients
- 2 lb red cabbage chopped
- 2 red onions finely sliced
- 3 Granny Smith apples diced
- 1 bay leaf
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Himalayan salt
Instructions
- Cook all ingredients together in a big stockpot till the cabbage and apples are tender. Serve.
