Shortbread Cookies

  • ½ c butter unsalted
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 c self-rising flour
  • ¼ t ginger
  • ¼ 1 nutmeg


  • Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and spices.
  • Form into cookies in your hand.
  • Bake 15 minutes at 350°F or until done.
  • Ice with frosting, if desired.
