Stephanie Green will present on ruby-throated hummingbirds, their biology, and migration patterns.  She will also discuss plants that attract them to gardens and yards as well as some information regarding the history of Hummingbirds that have been banded at Strawberry Plains over the years.

Stephanie has been on staff at Strawberry Plains Audubon Center as the Ecologist for 3 years. Stephanie is originally from Florida, and for 12 years before coming to SPAC, she managed publicly owned conservation lands in SW Florida for a state agency. Stephanie attended Berea College in Kentucky for her undergrad studies and then the University of Kentucky for a Master’s degree in Forest Ecology.
