We are looking forward to working in and reworking the Herb Garden on Saturday, August 10th. The meeting place is at the Horticultural Building. The time to sign in is after 8:00 a.m. Please be on time. Bring your gloves and hat, and wear closed toed shoes. If you have favorite hand tools for weeding and grooming, be sure to bring them also. Our group does leave the Horticultural Building until 8:30 a.m. We are grateful that Sherri McCalla will provide us with cold water and bug spray.

After working for two hours, we will have an hour of ‘classroom’ time to learn how to make Herbal Gifts with our garden bounty and how to present these creations. What a wonderful learning opportunity that is based on a barter system. As a bonus, there will be a handout with recipes and tips to take home. Come to make friends, help our community, and learn many new things about herbs!
