Come watch as Chef Amon demonstrates how to make fresh herbal sauces and showcases them with already prepared appetizers for all of us to sample and try!  And that is not all — bring your favorite teacup and enjoy a cup of tisane. Chef Amon will give a brief explanation of tisanes and discuss beneficial properties of tisane ingredients. She’ll also have a few recipe cards and recommend combinations. This will be a fun, interactive program and one not to be missed!

Bio: Amon Easley is a culinary artist with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and an associate’s degree at The Culinary Institute of America. She worked as Head Chef for Fork Roadhouse and Catering in Sonoma County, California several years and served as Ted Turner’s Personal Chef for two years. Amon also worked in the field of horticulture, helping tend herbs, perennials, and cut flowers, for an old family-owned glass greenhouse and nursery in Lexington, KY named Michler’s.

Amon is currently the Chef and Kitchen Programming Coordinator at the Fayetteville Public Library where she shares her passion for art and cooking by teaching classes with a “garden to table theme”.
