  • 1 box brownie mix I used Betty Crocker dark chocolate.
  • 7-8 oz canned chiles or to taste
  • ½ t ground dried cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 1 t ground cinnamon or to taste


  • Prepare the brownie batter according to the directions on the box, adding the extra ingredients. (Since there is liquid in the canned chiles, you might want to reduce the amount of water called for in the directions.) Bake according to the directions on the box.
