2020 VIRTUAL SILENT AUCTION

The Memphis Herb Society Silent Auction is an annual fundraiser that is taking place online this year! Christmas shopping has never been easier! For two weeks, we will post photos and bidding information for a wide variety of unique items sure to please everyone on your Christmas list. Proceeds from the auction fund our programs. Check our Facebook page daily for updates.

SILENT AUCTION RULES

• Bidding will be increased in increments of $1.00.
• All sales are final, and all items are sold “as is.” The Memphis Herb Society has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, or provenance of the items. No statement made online or made orally at the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty or representation.
• The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify amount of deduction.
• Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities unless specified.
• Payment for items purchased must be made in full before pick up. The Memphis Herb Society accepts cash, credit card, or a check made payable to the Memphis Herb Society.
• Following payment, you may pick up your purchases via our contactless pick up day at the Memphis Botanic Garden. The Memphis Herb Society also offers contactless delivery in the Memphis area for a fee of $5.00.
• Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to the Memphis Herb Society.
• The Memphis Herb Society reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
• Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the date of the auction.
• Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from the Memphis Herb Society, their elected and appointed officials, members, event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
